More than 30 percent of the tax resources are lost because of tax evasion, said Basescu.

He stressed that nothing weakens a state more than the diminished financial resources.

He said that all state institutions have to concentrate their efforts on fighting the crime.

"The battle for curbing tax evasion continues to be a major priority," the president said.
