Displayed in the hall of the exhibition are works of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il, photos on the Songun leadership exploits of Kim Jong Il, books introducing Songun Korea and art pieces.

Present at the opening ceremony were personages from different social standings and masses.

The vice-minister and minister of culture of the Irkutsk Regional Government and the representative of the Foreign Ministry in Irkutsk City said in their speeches that the exhibition would contribute to boosting the friendly cultural cooperation between Russia and the DPRK and offer Russians an important occasion to know better about the developed culture of the DPRK.

The exhibition will last till mid-March.
