Koreans in US Denounce South Korean Regime

Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- Organizations of Koreans in the U.S. began demonstrations to judge the south Korean puppet government outside the south Korean embassy in the U.S. from Mar. 1, the 92nd anniversary of the March First Popular Uprising. They include the U.S. Regional Committee of the Overseas Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration.

Prior to the demonstration they made public a declaration.

It accused the present south Korean regime of revealing its true colors as typical dictatorial regime since it took office. It gagged the just voices of the citizens through fascist suppression and shaped the policy in favor of financial tycoons, etc., quite contrary to the desire of the times, it added.

The regime also incited confrontation dating back to the Cold War era, sparked off the military clashes between the north and the south and blocked the peace on the Korean Peninsula and the prosperity of the nation, it deplored.

It said that the compatriot organizations in the U.S. would conduct a 100-day demonstration to force the Lee Myung Bak regime, ill famed to be incompetent, corrupt and self-righteous, to step down.
