New Postage Stamps Issued

| Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- The DPRK State Stamp Bureau has issued two sheetlets to mark the 50th anniversary of the treaty on friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance between the DPRK and China. The sheetlets carry photos of President Kim Il Sung meeting with Chairman Mao Zedong, and other photos of Chinese revolutionaries of elder generations. Also seen in the stamps are national flags and emblems of the two countries and letters "DPRK-China Friendship" written in Korean and Chinese languages. The treaty was signed in Beijing on July 11, Juche 50 (1961). |
