Belarus Not to Devalue Its Currency on IMF Recommendation--National Bank

| Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- National Bank of Belarus is not going to follow the IMF recommendation to devalue the national currency, said the press secretary of the bank on March 12. "Once the National Bank followed the IMF recommendation to conduct devaluation and made sure that the move did not make any positive effect on the balance-of-payments," he said. He added that the devaluation had several negative consequences. |
