Recalling that the U.S. and south Korea are staging again the joint military drills at a time when the situation on the Korean Peninsula are rendered extremely tense, the statement branded their war maneuvers as continued provocations against the DPRK.

The situation on the Korean Peninsula is getting worse due to the joint military exercises, said the statement.

The U.S. and south Korea should stop at once their military drills and the south Korean authorities should stabilize the situation and take measures helpful for the reconciliation with fellow countrymen, it stressed.
