These war maneuvers have gained in scope and strength to keep pace with the steadily supplemented and rounded off operation plan for invading the north worked out by U.S. war strategists and they revealed the U.S. scenario to psychologically pressurize the Korean people and weaken its economic potential in a bid to realize with ease its wild ambition to stifle the DPRK. Herein lie the danger and gravity of its saber-rattling.

The joint military exercises may develop into an actual war any moment.

The aim sought by the U.S. warlike forces through these war maneuvers is to escalate the military tension and confrontation on the Korean Peninsula and secure a pretext for sparking off the Second Korean War.

The on-going Foal Eagle military exercises are aimed to serve the purpose of the U.S. imperialists. These adventurous exercises will reportedly last till next month. No one can vouch that the U.S. imperialists will not orchestrate such extremely shocking military incidents as the second "Cheonan" case and Yonphyong Island shelling and mount a preemptive attack on the DPRK under the pretext of these cases.

The present reality goes to prove that their moves to ignite another Korean War after creating a touch-and-go situation on the peninsula have gone beyond the danger line.
