Uruguay Supportive of Using Local Currencies in Trade

| Pyongyang, March 17 (KCNA) -- Uruguayan President Jose Alberto Mujica Cordano said on Monday that his country was supportive of reaching an agreement with Brazil on using local currencies in bilateral trade. Speaking to reporters in Sao Paulo City of Brazil, he said that such agreement is absolutely necessary from a strategic standpoint for a strong and lasting partnership. He stressed the need to establish a mechanism similar to that had already existed between Brazil and Argentine. |
