Venezuelan Gov't to Promote Rational Use of Electricity

| Pyongyang, March 17 (KCNA) -- The Venezuelan government will launch educational programs and energy-saving campaigns this year to promote rational use of electricity. Venezuelan Electricity Minister Ali Rodriguez expressed this stand on Sunday when referring to the country's demand for electricity growing every year. Between September 2009 and May 2010, the Venezuelan government rationed electricity as production met only 70 percent of total electricity demand during a severe and prolonged drought. |
