China's Foreign Ministry on Issue of Int’l Currency System Reform

| Beijing, March 16 (KCNA) -- A spokeswoman for the Foreign Ministry of China at a press conference on Tuesday mentioned the issue of reforming the international currency system. Referring to the symposium on the reform of the international currency system to be held in Nanjing on March 31, she said that the purpose of the symposium is to discuss the issue of reforming the international currency system, adding that the exchange rate of Renminbi was not on its agenda. She dismissed as wrong the news report that China agreed to discuss the exchange rate of Renminbi at the symposium. |
