Iran Denies Arming Afghan Militants

| Tehran, March 16 (KCNA) -- Iran has denied reports made by Western countries that the country has been offering arms to extremist groups in Afghanistan, a spokesman for Iran's Foreign Ministry told a press TV on Tuesday. He said that Western countries were resorting to fabricating news and leveling false accusations against his country in order to divert public opinion's attention after their military invasion of Afghanistan proved ineffective. |
