Present there on invitation were officials of the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Regional Development, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Economy and Development, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Extraordinary Situation, the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK and other organs concerned of Russia, including the roving ambassador of the Foreign Ministry.

Ambassador Kim Yong Jae and staff members of the embassy were on hand.

The participant laid bunches of flowers before the full-length figure portrait of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il. Then they looked round photos on display under the theme of "Whole life for the people" and "Leader Kim Jong Il and scientists of the DPRK".

Speeches were made at the party.
