China Asks for Correct Nuclear Information from Japan

| Beijing, March 19 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry at a press conference on Mar. 17 asked Japan to offer in time correct information about the leakage of radioactivity at its Fukushima nuclear power plant. The nuclear safety is of great importance at present and the Chinese government is attaching high priority to it, he said. Japan is obliged to rapidly inform the IAEA member nations, through the agency, of the said situation under the relevant international commitments, he added. |
