China's Drive to Save Energy

| Beijing, March 20 (KCNA) -- China directed efforts to saving energy in the period of the 11th Five-Year Plan. As a result, its average annual energy saving capacity increased at least 13 million tons, when calculated in terms of standard coal. The number of energy saving service companies swelled to more than 800 last year from over 80 in 2005. |
