Song Selected for Taekwon-Do Championship

| Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- The Organizing Committee of the 17th World Taekwon-Do Championship selected "Pyongyang Taekwon-Do Festival Song" as the song of the championship. The festival song was created for the 8th World Taekwon-Do Championship held in Pyongyang in September Juche 81 (1992). The song reflects the unanimous will of the Taekwon-do players across the world to safeguard justice and peace and achieve unity and development. The committee also fixed justice, peace, friendship and unity as the idea of the championship. The 17th championship is scheduled to be held in the DPRK in September. |
