Lecturers referred to the successes made by the Korean people in the work to preserve and manage water resources.

They underscored the need to make positive efforts to preserve clean drinking water with a deep understanding of importance of water and protection of water resources.

The participants watched the Korean scientific film "Gravity-fed Water Supply".

On the same day, hygienic information service of students was conducted at the Hero Anju Secondary School No. 1 on the above-said occasion.

Officials and members of the DPRK Red Cross Society, members of the delegation of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies active in the DPRK were on hand.

Earlier, the participants went round the water supply system built with the aid of the Federation.
