This place is associated with the immortal exploits Kim Hyong Jik, an indomitable revolutionary fighter, performed by organizing and leading the anti-Japanese national liberation struggle from the middle of March 1916 to November 1917.

The visitors went round different places including a house, the place on Mt. Ponghwa where a secret meeting was held, the Monument to Pisoko-gye and the Maekjon Ferry.

They looked round historical mementoes and materials at the Ponghwa-ri Revolutionary Museum while being briefed on the fact that he formed the KNA and conducted energetic activities to expand its organizations to vast areas at home and abroad.
