Present there were members of the committee and officials in the field of physical culture and sports and other fields related to it.

The meeting summed up the work of the committee for Juche 99 (2010) and discussed the orientation of its work for Juche 100 (2011).

A report by Pak Myong Chol, minister of Physical Culture and Sports and chairman of the committee, was followed by speeches.

They said that last year the DPRK players proved successful at international games including the AFC Challenger Cup Tournament for 2010, the Asian U-19 Football Championship for 2010 and the Asian U-16 Football Championship for 2010.

They proposed tasks and ways to further enhance the function and role of the committee and the associations of different sports events and bring about a fresh turn in developing the physical culture and sports of the country this year.
