Russian PM Brands Military Operation against Libya as Invasion

| Moscow, March 23 (KCNA) -- Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin on Monday branded the military operation against Libya by the U.S. and other Western countries as invasion from outside. The resolution of the UN Security Council on Libya which allows invasion of a sovereign state is a harmful one as it is not perfect, he said, adding that it reminds one of the call for crusade expedition in the Middle ages. What is happening in Libya goes to prove that everything done by Russia to bolster the combat capability of the country is just, he stressed. |
