AU Chairperson Rejects Military Intervention in Libya

| Pyongyang, March 26 (KCNA) -- Jean Ping, chairperson of the African Union, on Tuesday clarified the stand against the military intervention of the U.S. and the West in Libya. The AU rejected the intervention not only at the United Nations but on many other occasions, he said, holding that it can never be justified. The Libyan crisis should be settled through dialogue, he said, calling upon the countries concerned to make joint efforts for it. |
