He said that decisions on use of force are being adopted too easily when handling the international issues. Russia would purchase the samples of a total of 1,300 kinds of weapons and military technical equipment according to the national arms and equipment plan for 2020, he said, adding that the army will by then hold 70 percent of the ultra modern military hardware.

He emphasized that Russia will modernize all the fields of the national defence industrial complex producing missiles, airplanes, command and reconnaissance means, warships and munitions.
