Russian Lawmaker on Necessity to Bolster Strategic Nuclear Armed Forces

Moscow, March 26 (KCNA) -- Victor Zabardin, chairman of the National Defense Committee of the Russian State Duma, at a meeting on March 24 underscored the need to bolster the strategic nuclear armed forces.

How to bolster the strategic nuclear armed forces is directly linked with the issue of the nation's military security and sovereignty, he noted, adding that it is the primary task for developing armed forces to bolster the strategic nuclear armed forces.

The priority task for accelerating the modernization of the strategic nuclear armed forces in Russia is to have in place new means capable of overcoming the missile defence system, he stressed.
