The statement said:

Not only the majority of people but the international community did not believe "torpedo No.1" which the south Korean authorities produced as critical evidence proving the warship "Cheonan" sinking case. Nevertheless, the authorities are using the case as a lever for escalating the confrontation between the south and the north and maintaining power, concealing the truth about the case.

The statement blasted the authorities for persistently staging exercises for a war of aggression against the north, raising a hue and cry over "provocations by the north," "examination of the posture for strong counter-action" and the like though one year has passed since the occurrence of the case.
