China's Plan to Develop Water Transport

| Beijing, March 30 (KCNA) -- Zhang Dejiang, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and vice-premier of the State Council, at a recent ground-breaking ceremony for building high-class waterways in rivers of the country, underscored the need to improve the management of waterways and develop water transport. What is important here is to choose important objects, set clear-cut goals and improve service and management in an effort to build a stable and green water transport system, he added. |
