Letter to Kim Jong Il from Participants in Nigerian National Seminar

Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il received a letter from the participants in the Nigerian national seminar on the feats of President Kim Il Sung, the father of socialist Korea, on March 23 on the occasion of his birth anniversary. The letter noted that the President waged the anti-Japanese armed struggle under the uplifted banner of the Juche idea, liberated the country from the military occupation by the Japanese imperialists and founded the DPRK, the first people's democratic state in the East. The feats the President performed by establishing the socialist system centered on the popular masses guided by his original idea of nation-building and with his experienced and tested leadership always remain shining, the letter noted, and went on: Kim Jong Il has held aloft the banner of the Juche idea and the Songun idea true to the cause of the President, turning the DPRK into a political and ideological power to be reckoned with on the international arena. The participants said in the letter that the seminar provided them with an opportunity to know better about the feats performed by the President who built socialist Korea and the Songun revolutionary feats performed by Kim Jong Il on the road of building a thriving socialist nation. They renewed their resolution to strive hard to widely study and disseminate the Juche idea and the Songun idea. |
