Present there from the DPRK side were the members of the KPA military delegation led by Pak Jae Gyong, vice-minister of the People's Armed Forces, and the DPRK ambassador to Laos and from the opposite side the vice-minister of Defence, the deputy chief of the General Staff of the Laotian People's Army and officials concerned.

At the talks both sides exchanged views on the issue of boosting friendly relations between the armies of the two countries and on matters of mutual concern.

The talks proceeded in a friendly atmosphere.
