Move for Expanding Firing Range of Air Force Rejected in S. Korea

Pyongyang, April 3 (KCNA) -- The inhabitants in Ryoju County, Kyonggi Province of south Korea came out against the move of the Ministry of Defense to expand a firing range of its air force.

They expressed their strong anger at the ministry keen to expropriate their land for expanding the firing range in the county.

They expressed their will to form an all-people county committee for checking the expansion of the above-said firing range with chiefs of ris and members of civic and public organizations of various circles in the county on April 6 and to stage an action to force the ministry to retract the plan for the expansion and close the firing range.
