The summit between Pakistani Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani and his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh on Mar. 31 was a "win-win for the bilateral process of engagement".

"Pakistan wants to move towards a comprehensive and broad- ranging engagement with India on the basis of equality, mutual trust, mutual interest and mutual respect," said a spokeswoman for the Pakistani Foreign Ministry on the same day.
