At the conference speakers noted that the ministry in a briefing on March 29 announced that the fund for transferring the U.S. military base to be borne by south Korea would increase more trillions of won than the amount agreed.

They charged that the military authorities are scheming to bear even the U.S. share of fund for the transfer of its Second Division base.

They expressed resentment at the attitude of the authorities who seek to squander a fabulous amount of money collected from the people on transfer of the U.S. military base while turning away the demand of evacuees for vital rights under the pretext of lack of money.

They warned that the people would certainly punish the present authorities for submission to the U.S.
