Friendly Meeting with Syrian Embassy Officials

| Pyongyang, April 4 (KCNA) -- A friendly meeting with staff members of the Syrian embassy here took place at the DPRK-Syria Friendship Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Silk Mill on Monday to mark the 65th anniversary of the independence of Syria. Present there on invitation were Charge d'Affaires Souheil Haidar and officials of the embassy. Mun Jae Chol, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and vice-chairman of the DPRK-Syria Friendship Association, officials concerned and others. The participants went round production processes of the mill after being briefed on the activities of the three commanders of Mt. Paektu associated with it and its history. They talked to each other about the need to boost the ties between the two countries. |
