Xinjiang Uygur of China Works to Protect Swamp

| Beijing, April 4 (KCNA) -- Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China is directing efforts to protecting swamps. The region built six swamp natural conservation areas and six swamp parks and is taking good care of them. At present there are many swamps in Mts. Tian and Kunlun, Talimu and Zhungaer basins and other areas of the region, which cover 1.48 million hectares in total. |
