Upon authorization of the king and the great king, a delegation of the ministry of Royal Palace led by Kong Sam Ol, deputy prime minister in charge of the Royal Palace, visited the embassy on April 1 to lay the floral baskets before the portraits of Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Kim Il Sung is the benefactor and the closest friend of the Cambodian people as well as the great leader of the Korean people and the eternal president of the DPRK, the deputy prime minister said, adding:

The king and the great king hope that Kim Il Sung would always live in the hearts of the Korean people and the world progressives.

They are happy to see the Korean people make achievements in building a thriving nation under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il, and sincerely wish them bigger success in the future.

We hope that the traditional relations of friendship between the two countries provided by Norodom Sihanouk and Kim Il Sung would grow stronger.
