This work was published on April 6, Juche 82 (1993). It clarifies the issue of founding a unified state through the unity of the whole nation, the issue of attaining unity on the basis of love for the nation and the spirit of national independence, the issues of promoting co-existence, co-prosperity and common interests, putting a halt to all political strife which stokes division and confrontation among fellow countrymen, realizing mutual trust and unity between the north and the south, etc.

It also comprehensively indicates the ways of realizing great national unity including the matter of not rejecting those with different ideology and ism but joining hands with each other on the road for national reunification.
