Kim Jong Il's Field Guidance Reported in Russia

| Pyongyang, April 8 (KCNA) -- General Secretary Kim Jong Il provided on-site guidance to industrial establishments in Hamhung City, South Hamgyong Province, the 13th issue of the Russian newspaper Patriot reported. The paper said that Kim Jong Il recently looked round the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex, the Hungnam Smeltery and the Hamhung Woolen Mill. The paper continued: Kim Jong Il expressed great satisfaction over the unprecedented upswing of production being waged by the workers of the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex with patriotic zeal. He highly praised the workers of the Hungnam Smeltery for having made varieties of building parts and daily necessities by making the effective use of byproducts. Visiting the Hamhung Woolen Mill the site of which was chosen by President Kim Il Sung on Oct. 7 1961, Kim Jong Il expressed great satisfaction over the production of the various kinds of quality spinning and weaving products at the Converting and Spinning Shop. The paper also carried photos of Kim Jong Il providing field guidance to the industrial establishments. |
