Kong Sam Ol, deputy prime minister in charge of the Royal Palace of Cambodia, said that Kim Il Sung was the closest friend of Great King Norodom Sihanouk and the Cambodian people.

The Cambodian people boundlessly revere the President and always remember the material and moral support sent by him, he said.

I am pleased that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between Cambodia and the DPRK are steadily growing stronger and hope that these relations would continue to grow strong and develop in the future, too, he noted.

Alejandro Cao de Benos, chairman of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain, introduced the brief history of the revolutionary activities of the President.

The validity and great vitality of the Juche idea and the Songun idea founded by the President have been fully demonstrated through the reality of the DPRK, he said.

The DPRK is the socialist system centered on the popular masses in which all social benefits including free education and free medical care are provided and a land of bliss for the people, he added.
