The Jordanian official condemned Israel's unilateral, illegal and provocative measures in the occupied Palestinian territories.

He demanded the Israeli authorities stop at once all the unilateral steps against Palestine.

The aide to the chief of the Palestinian National Authority on Monday condemned Israel's plan to develop four settlements in the West Bank and its approval of at least 940 housing projects in East Jerusalem settlements.

"These steps reflect the Israeli government's urgency to continue destroying any chance for resuming the peace process," said the aide.

France warned Israel against the plan to expand settlement in West Bank, the French Foreign Ministry said Monday.
