Anti-DPRK Remarks of US and S. Korea Blasted

Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- Some days ago, the warmongers of the U.S. Defense Department and the south Korean Ministry of Defense launched the "policy committee for extended deterrence" in Hawaii under the pretext of coping with someone's "threat of nuclear weapons and WMD". At this confab, they assessed what they called "the level of threat" of the DPRK's "WMD" including nuclear weapons and examined measures and alternatives for sharing information and making effective use of them.

Rodong Sinmun Sunday observes in a by-lined commentary in this regard:

The committee was aimed to specify the preparations for a new Korean war and secure a pretext for provoking a war.

The "level of threat" touted by them clearly shows how desperately they are trying to brand the DPRK as a "criminal".

It is a height of effrontery for the U.S. warmongers to make profound confusion of right and wrong and find fault with the DPRK under the pretext of its non-existent "threat". It is their sinister aim to convince the public that real threat comes from the DPRK and shift the blame on to it in a bid to justify their hostile policy toward the DPRK and ignite the second Korean war any moment based on it.

It is pursuant to this plan that the U.S. imperialists are staging frantic war exercises along the southern coastal areas of the West Sea of Korea as part of the Foal Eagle joint military exercises they kicked off together with the south Korean warmongers.

The committee was launched timed to coincide with the exercises. This clearly reveals the U.S. invariable ambition to invade the DPRK. This is only a hysteric spasm of "tiger moths".

The U.S. warmongers had better behave with prudence, away from their shameful ambition for invasion of the DPRK if they do not want to face the fate of a tiger moth.
