South Headquarters of Pomminryon Calls for Reunifying Country

Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification (Pomminryon) issued an article on April 6 on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the publication of President Kim Il Sung's work "10-Point Programme of the Great Unity of the Whole Nation for the Reunification of the Country".

The article said that the 10-point programme is, indeed, a fair and aboveboard and great reunification programme. The south-north summit meeting in June 2000 was a historic watershed in translating it into practice, in particular, it noted, and went on:

All the Koreans have keenly acquired the scientific accuracy and truth of the 10-point programme of the great national unity through the struggle to implement the June 15 joint declaration.

No vicious obstructions of the conservative ruling forces can check the dynamic advance of the compatriots, the article said. It called upon all the patriotic people to get firmly united under the uplifted banner of "By our nation itself" and wage the struggle to build a reunified country, the desire of the nation.
