DPRK Friendly Delegation Leaves for China

Pyongyang, April 11 (KCNA) -- A DPRK friendly delegation led by Jon Yong Jin, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and vice-chairman of the C.C., the DPRK-China Friendship Association, left here for China Monday to participate in the event for commemorating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Arriving here on the same day were Vishwanath, secretary general of the International Kim Il Sung Prize Council and director-general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, Harish Gupta, director-general of the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea, a delegation of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions led by Vice-Chairman Zhang Mingqi, a delegation of the Stockholm Institute for Security and Development Policy of Sweden led by Director Niklas Swanstrom and a delegation of the Mongolian Mt. Paektu Association for Independent Development led by Chairman L. Khaisandai.

An Indonesian government cultural delegation led by Hari Untoro Dradjat, senior advisor for Multiculture of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, arrived here that day to participate in the 13th Kimilsungia Festival.
