Jordan Warns against Violence between Israelis and Palestinians

| Pyongyang, April 11 (KCNA) -- Jordan's Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh at a press conference with the Austrian Foreign Minister on Wednesday warned against violence between the Israelis and the Palestinians, which he said will increase tensions and hamper efforts to resume peace talks. Such violence, Judeh said, obstructs efforts to restart serious peace talks that lead to the creation of an independent Palestinian state on the Palestinian territories. Judeh condemned all Israeli settlement activities and its unilateral measures that alter the geographic and demographic situation on the ground, adding that these Israeli measures negatively affect the peace process. |
