Russian Ambassador Expresses Concern about Japan's Linking of Radioactive Materials

| Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- The Russian ambassador to Japan at a press conference on April 8 expressed concern about the release of contaminated water into the Pacific by the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant in Japan. "This makes us very uneasy in the light of the fact that radioactive materials flow into the waters off the Far East of Russia", he held, urging the Japanese side to take measures necessary for forecasting the flow of contaminated water into the Pacific and inform the Russian side of the results of its work. |
