Mainali, general secretary of the C.C., the Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) who is chairman of the Nepalese national preparatory committee, Sumiko Shimizu, representative of the Japanese Women's Society for Solidarity with the Korean Women who is chairwoman of the Japanese preparatory committee, and Alejandro Cao de Benos, chairman of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain who is chairman of the KFA preparatory committee.

Also arriving today were Raymond Ferguson, national secretary of the Australia-DPRK Association for Friendship and Culture who is vice-chairman of the Asia-Pacific regional preparatory committee.

Arriving on the same day were Johnny Hon, chairman of the International Kim Il Sung Foundation, and his party, Omar Lopez Perez, vice-chairman of the Latin American Institute of the Juche Idea, Matteo Carbonelli, secretary general of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, Kamwiziku Octave, secretary general of the African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, a delegation of the Secretariat of the International Institute of the Juche Idea headed by Hiroko Takizawa, a delegation of the Study Forum for Self-Reliance of Nepal led by Chairman Subash Kaji Shrestha, a delegation of the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea led by Mohammad Shamsul Ikram, Wang Dongping, general manager of the Kimilsungia and Kimjongilia Greenhouse in Dandong, China, and his party and Li Xiangjun, vice-secretary general of a branch of the China Flower Association, and his party.
