Ri Myong Gil, chairman of the C.C., the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, made a report at the meeting which was followed by speeches.

The speakers noted that President Kim Il Sung established the best socialist rural economic system in Korea and put forward the common peasants as the master of the country.

They expressed the determination to devote their all to achieving the prosperity of the country under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il, cherishing the President's warm love and trust.

They underlined the need to radically increase the grain production and, at the same time, turn the farms and villages into socialist land of bliss, thus carrying into brilliant reality the WPK's far-reaching plan for rural construction.
