S. Korean Organizations Demand Democracy

| Pyongyang, April 13 (KCNA) -- South Korean organizations including the April 9 Reunification and Peace Foundation, a juridical body, held a memorial service in Seoul on April 9 for pro- reunification activists killed due to the conspiratorial case cooked up by the erstwhile military fascist dictatorial regime. Recalling that several persons were punished on charges of involvement in the case of the People's Revolutionary Party 36 years ago, the speakers deplored that the authorities have not made any official apology to the dead though many years have passed since then. A democratic society should be built on this land to realize the desire of the victims, they held. |
