China Seeks to Ban Import of More Kinds of Japan's Agricultural Products

| Beijing, April 11 (KCNA) -- The State General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China on April 8 announced a notice that it would expand kinds of foodstuffs and agricultural products it banned import from Japan and scope of producers and strengthen the supervision over inspection and quarantine. This step was taken in connection with the fact that the radioactive leakage from the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant of Japan is steadily affecting the quality security of foodstuffs and agricultural products and its damage is getting serious. |
