Present there were Vishwanath, secretary general of the International Kim Il Sung Prize Council and director-general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, Kamwiziku Octave, secretary general of the African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, Matteo Carbonelli, secretary general of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, other members of the executive committee and foreign delegations and delegates of organizations for the Study of the Juche Idea.

The meeting reviewed the successes achieved by the organizations for the study of the Juche Idea since the 12th meeting of the executive committee and proposed the orientation of work to be done in the future.

It also discussed issues of intensifying the activities to study and disseminate the Juche Idea, increasing the number of organizations for the study of the Juche Idea and boosting their function and role.

It discussed the issues of forming an international preparatory committee for successfully holding a world conference on the Juche idea on the occasion of the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung and increasing its role and calling on the members of the organizations for the study of the Juche Idea in the relevant countries and regions to help the preparatory committees creditably perform their mission.

The meeting underscored the need for the followers of the Juche Idea to organize diverse significant events and widely introduce the immortal feats performed by the peerlessly great men in founding and developing in depth the Juche Idea on the occasion of the Day of the Sun in 2012.

A resolution of the 13th enlarged meeting was adopted at the meeting.

The resolution called for holding a world conference on the Juche idea with splendor in Pyongyang on the occasion of the Day of the Sun in 2012 marking the centenary of birth of Kim Il Sung.

It said that preparations for it would be dynamically pushed forward with main emphasis on making the world conference mark a historic occasion in highly praising Kim Il Sung for his exploits performed in the Korean revolution and in the efforts to accomplish the cause of global independence by founding and developing in depth the Juche idea and in powerfully demonstrating the fact that they are being successfully carried forward by General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

The resolution noted that the organizations for the study of the Juche idea and its followers would intensify their activities to study and disseminate the Juche idea in their regions and countries to stir up an international atmosphere of significant commemorations of the centenary of birth of Kim Il Sung.

A letter to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the meeting.
