Displayed in the venue of the photo exhibition were photos on the leadership exploits of Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and the Korean people's drive for building a thriving nation.

The vice-president of the France-Korea Friendship Association said that the Day of the Sun, the birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung, is a holiday of not only the Korean people but also progressive humankind.

Recalling that the President led to victory the two revolutionary wars, the social revolution of two phases and socialist construction of various stages, the vice-president expressed the will to intensify the activities for introducing his greatness and exploits.

The secretary of the Mfumalanga Provincial Committee of the South African Communist Party stressed that there were many leaders and brilliant commanders in the world but Kim Il Sung was the only man who dedicated himself to the people's happiness all his life while living in the open air and undergoing a lot of hardships for their sake.

Referring to the fact that the President's cause has been successfully carried forward by Kim Jong Il, the secretary noted that the Korean people have worked the world-startling miracles under his leadership.

The participants of the film shows watched Korean films including "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation" and "The Tower of the Juche Idea".

A message to Kim Jong Il was adopted at a meeting in Bulgaria.
