The paper carried on its front page a portrait of smiling President and on its second and third pages photos on the revolutionary feats the President performed by dedicating himself to the happiness of the people and the prosperity of the country all his life and wisely leading Chongryon.

The paper edited an article under the title "The Day of the Sun pervaded with the pledge of loyalty-Boundless is the honor of being descendants of the President."

The article conveyed accounts of the 13th Kimilsungia Festival, the 27th April Spring Friendship Art Festival and other significant commemorations now under way in Pyongyang on the occasion of the 99th birth anniversary of the President.

The article stressed that everything intended and desired by the President is becoming a reality thanks to the all-out drive being waged for building a thriving nation true to the leadership of Kim Jong Il.
