The President was the savior and benevolent father of the Koreans in Japan as he brought them the joy of being members of the liberated nation, the dignity and honor of being legitimate citizens of Juche Korea and provided them with the pride of being vanguard in the overseas compatriots' movement and a worthy life by founding Chongryon, the letter said, and continued: It is thanks to you that the homeland is bringing about a decisive turn in building a thriving socialist nation, looking down at the world after emerging a single-mindedly united politico-ideological power, a military power possessed of tremendous war deterrence and a scientific and technological power breaking through latest science and technology. The hearts of the Koreans in Japan are filled with the unshakable faith that a shining victory is in store for Chongryon's patriotic cause only when they carry forward generation after generation the revolutionary cause of Juche started in Mt.
