Dancing parties started at the plazas of the Party Founding Memorial Tower, the April 25 House of Culture and the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium and other venues of the dancing parties here to the tune of song "Let's Sing of the Day of the Sun."

The participants presented dances with the pride of holding in high esteem the President, the father of socialist Korea and pioneer of the cause of building a thriving nation of Juche, as the eternal sun of Juche.

Youth and students danced to the tune of songs "Mangyongdae, the Cradle of Revolution" and "Mine is the Eternal Country of the Leader".

The festive atmosphere picked up when the band played "Our General Is Best" and "Our Country Is Witnessing Changes" and other songs in reflection of boundless reverence for General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

Similar dancing parties were also held in various provincial seats and cities to significantly commemorate the Day of the Sun.
